CUPCAKE CELEBRATES 3rd ANNIVERSARY WITH NEW VENDORS, HOLIDAY
STYLES Baltimore’s hottest boutique is celebrating its second
sweet year of outfitting the City’s most fashionable women. Voted “Best Boutique” by Baltimore Magazine
in 2006, Cupcake continues to gather accolades and attention from local media and fashionistas alike. “It’s been a phenomenal two years,” said Lisa Schatz,
Cupcake president. “We’ve evolved along with the tastes of Baltimore’s modern women, adding new vendors
and styles that are usually found in the boutiques of New York and L.A.” Quickly
becoming a sought after fashion expert, Lisa has been featured by the Baltimore Sun, Style and Baltimore magazines, as well
as appeared on WBAL and Fox 45. The store will also be enjoying a national placement in an upcoming issue of InStyle magazine. “It’s crucial keep current in the world of fashion because
everything changes so quickly,” said Schatz. “It also helps for when the media call for a trend watch or style
update, we’ve got exactly what they need.” According
to Schatz, this season’s styles are all about being a girl. Be on the lookout for these fall/holiday trends: - All about the details:
zipper accents, embellished tops, staememt jewelry
- Colors: purples, reds, grays, blues, and of course black
- Dresses –fun and flirty!
- Prints – retro
and funky.
- Youch of the 80's: narrow bottoms, bigger tops. plaids, headbands, "boyfirend jackets"
Some of the vendors featured at Cupcake this spring include Nicole Miller, BCBG, Black Halo, Bianca
Nero, NU Collective, Sky, Max & Cleo, J Brand jeans, Donna Morgan, TWG cashmere, and 525 America. “One of the best parts about being a local business is getting to know the customers
and forging a personal relationship with them,” said Schatz. “Welcoming them by name, knowing what they like,
remembering what styles look best on them, that’s the kind of attention a Cupcake customer can expect.” Being a local business, Schatz has also become an important member
of the Fells Point community, in addition to hosting various charitable events in her store.
We believe in friendly, helpful customer service, and that includes
the ability to return and/or exchange most items. We look forward to seeing you in the store!
